Furthermore, it was laughably predictable. As someone who has suffered from depression and suicidal ideations, I was left feeling very annoyed by the lack of nuance. In my opinion, the book was a basic, superficial, and underdeveloped look at mental illnesses. I don’t have an issue with the genre, but it’s not what I was expecting from this book. ![]() I was excited because it was so highly rated and the first chapter or so seemed really intriguing. Anyone else? I waited a couple of months to check this book out of the library and 12 people are currently waiting for me to return it. ![]()
